Ellerstina Win Hurlingham Open

 Ellerstina set up a tilt at the Triple Crown by beating La Aguada 14-12 in the final of the Hurlingham Open on Saturday. The team that won the Argentine Open the previous year now go into that tournament hoping to become Triple Crown winners after taking the Tortugas Open in October. Matias Macdonough was back in the black shirt for the first time since 2007 after Juan Martin Nero was suspended for the final after picking up two yellow cards in the semi final. Matias scored 3 goals as his team eased past the Novillo-Astrada brothers.
