La Martina (ARG)
Polo Holidays in the cradle of Cambiaso
La Martina is one of the oldest private houses in Argentina. Built in the 1890's, the house remains in the same family's ownership. Adolfo Cambiaso, the worlds best player and his half brothers Salvador and Marcial Socas grew up here with their mother; the current owner.
The property is located just outside the polo town of Canuelas in the polo village of Alexander Petion. It is here that Cambiaso and his brother-in-law and team mate Lolo Castagnola have built their farms. There are numerous high and medium goal tournamnents at Cambiaso's La Dolfina and we frequently take guests there to see the polo and soak up the atmosphere.
The beautiful house has seven bedrooms and can accomodate up to 15 guests. Facilities include a giant swimming pool and tennis court.

After lunch, guests are invite to take a siesta or relax by the pool. Then its chukkas in the afternoon before supper at the house or in one of Buenos Aires's famous restaurants. Buenos Aires is only 30 minutes from La Martina by car.
